Matilda Rose Applebee isn't your typical gal; she's determined to prove to her father she can run his ranch as well as the son he never had. Right now, she's on the trail, and has found the varmit who put her younger sister in the family way, and Matty won't take no for an answer.

Cooper T Davis has a whopper of a hangover and is in no mood to be pushed around. When Matty's accusations finally sink in, he denies ever having been involved with her sister, but he agrees to escort Matty back to her home. They stop long enough to meet with Matty's friend Billy Bowed-legs, who has died in his sleep. But Matty believes Billy is still looking out for her. Can Cooper convince Matty he's not the one she's looking for?

Heaven Sent is an often amusing tale of one woman's determination to right a wrong done to her sister. Matty may seem 'off the wall' at times, but that only adds to the fun in the plot. In the meantime, the hero can't get through to her, he's not what she thinks. Could the wagon he drives have something to do with her perceptions of him?

There's no 'deep' plot to this story, but the ease of the tale creates an enjoyable romance and some fun scenes. Sandra Madden has done a great job in writing light humor, and mixing equal parts of attraction between the main characters. You have to wonder if secondary characters are as crazy as they seem. Is this blend of romance, humor and righting wrongs Heaven Sent? You'll have to read it to find out. Enjoy!
