BASIC HONDA FUEL SYSTEM
This is the very basic lay out of the fuel injection system of most Hondas manufactured before 2001. I made some additions on the diagram to annotate components that a turbo fed Honda owners incorporates.

Take a note of the following:

FPR= regulates the fuel supply to the fuel rail through a signal from the Intake Manifold.

FMU= is an additional fuel pressure regulator for boosted hondas. It is a boost dependent regulator which means, it adds fuel as per pressure signal from the intake manifold. As an example, an FMU with a rating of 10:1 will increase the fuel pressure 10 psi for every 1 psi boost sensed from the intake Manifold. Study the diagram. It simply restricts the flow of fuel that is going back to the fuel tank, thus keeping the injectors supplied with fuel.

BOV and Boost gauge= both utilizes the same vacuum line that the FMU and the FPR does.
