4/3/00 Summer days.

Man, I'm tired. The whole "Spring forward" thing has me screwed up. That and a sleepless night. I spent the weekend trying to make the computer I bought last week seem less like a lemon.
It seems that for reasons I won't go into, the Performa 6200cd is widely considered to be the worst Macintosh ever made. I was able to steal the 64Mb of RAM from the thing, and the color printer is pretty nice... I am even going to get a 3 Gig Harddrive all going into my old computer, then the stripped down 6200 went into Calvins's room as a gaming computer. The real bummer about the whole deal is... the 15" monitor it came with "Fritzed-out" soon after i brought it home.

The weekend was nice. The weather got up to 70°, and we endded up going to the park with Yogi and Carla (Calvin and Katie's godparents). Monica has gotten out of the house on several occasions in the past few days, and it seems to have had a positive effect on her health and mood. Time will tell if it will last.

I took my Honda Elite 80 motorscooter out of the garage for the first time since Thanksgiving. It took a few tries to get her started, but in no time I was buzzing my way to our local Fred Meyer.

I'm gonna go home and enjoy my extended hour of daylight.

"Hope springs eternal."
