"Tell me who you live with and I will tell you who you are."

Friday at long last.
It took a lotta work to get here.

My last entry was pretty useless, I was in a sleepless stupor from the night before unfortunately sleep wasn't easy to come by on the following night either.
Around Midnight the night after my all-night design session... 42 hours since I last saw sleep... I was heading to bed. Then it happened, Monica who was obviously sick, mad and depressed decided to start an arguement. These arguements occur 2-3 times per year, and follow a very rigid structure that we can't seem to deviate from. Like Bill Murray, we are cursed to relive the same arguement over and over again.

RULES OF THE ARGUEMENT:

1. The game cannot start before midnight.

2. The first five lines of the arguement are:
- K: "Goodnight honey."
- M: "I'm sorry."
- K: "For what?"
- M: "For what ever it is that made you mad."
- K: "But I'm not mad."

3. The arguement will always contain these lines: "I'm sorry, I'll work harder.", "I'm not saying that's how things are...that's just how I feel.", "Trust me, things will get better."

4. The arguement cannot end before 3:00am, and there must be at least a partial apology by Ken."

So, at the 45 hour mark of my sleepless journey, we reached a cease-fire... I fell asleep, and my alarm went off three hours later.
Such is the price for peace and a delicate detente. Yesterday was pleasant, I got to bed at midnight, and got my full six hours, so I'm now ready to go face the weekend.

"The Peace Broker."
