5/22/00 Round Trip

Well, we made it back from the Tri-Cities. The trip was pretty uneventful.

The big event on Friday was My employer (Nike) gave my family four huge boxes of clothes and shoes to help replace what we lost in last month's fire. The clothes are a real life saver... it's nice to know that even though I work for a huge company... it's not heartless.

We got in really late on Friday, so we kinda slept in on Saturday...I was awake, however for the pathetic Blazer-Laker game.
My Dad is applying for a job in Sequim (pronounced SKWIM), Washington, up on the Olympic Penninsula. I can tell that he really wants the job pretty bad. I'm praying that he gets it.
Roy (my big brother) and Diane and thier kids came over that night, and Roy introduced me to the cool world of Napster.

On Sunday we visited my mom. There was only a few hours to chat and eat, before we had to leave for the four-hour drive home, and the inevitable challenge of getting the kids into bed....and then up again the next morning.

I gotta go! the 2nd Blazer/ Laker game is gonna start soon.
