. | ![]() 3/12/01- Beware the Ides of March. I'm going into a busy stretch again. Not just at work, but in all aspects. Tomorrow is Shelby's birthday, Sunday; Monica's sister Danielle (not the flaky one) is flying up fron Texas to spend a month or so, and I need to accomplish some life-support measures on the Taurus Wagon.
I know that a child's birthday isn't really something to dread, except for the fact that Monica just called me to say, "She is sick, the house is trashed, she doesn't know what we should have for supper (so now it's my responsibility), I need to go to Wal-Mart and buy a bike, secretly put it together, decorate the house, pick up the cake, clean the front lawn and clean the house, all before the guests arrive at 1pm tomorrow.
I don't think I'm going to get much help either, Monica has already polished-off 110 pills this month, and she is now going without, she gets 50 more sometime this weekend, but until she gets them I will be on my own.
I'm looking forward to seeing My sister-in-law Danielle, but the pressure of having to disassemble the party, and reassemble the house with little help feels discouraging.
It's St. Patrick's Day weekend too, I have grown out of the "green beer" stage of my life, but the holiday does serve to remind me that it's my mother in-law's birthday, and my car need's to be re-liscensed.
I still haven't heard from Monica's Doctor about the situation with the meds. It now feels like the opportunity has passed. The Iron is no longer hot enough to strike.
By the way,
I have a notification service now....
And dont forget the guestbook
