HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE NEXT WEEK!

As of right now it would appear that heavy snow is possible on Monday and Tuesday. A low pressure system is expected to move northeastward through the southeastern US and will have copious amounts of moisture. Quantitative Precipitation Forecast (or QPF) appears to be in the .75" to one inch range which if the snow-to-liquid ratio worked out to be 10 to one would be up to 10 inches of snow. Still needs to be watched but get ready for possible snow on Monday and Tuesday and many school delays and closings!
Forecast as of 5:40pm 2/9/07:

Tonight: Clearing. Low 6.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 25.
Sunday: Becoming mostly cloudy. Chance of snow after midnight. Low 12. High 29.
Monday and Tuesday: Snow becoming likely...significant accumulations possible! Lows 15 to 20, highs 25 to 30.
Wednesday to Friday: Partly cloudy. Lows between 5 and 13. Highs between 15 and 24.
