Twas' two weeks before Christmas
And all through our house
This year's not the same
For me and my spouse...
Brian's been hammering away in the basement,
To make a play-room
For all the new toys' placement...
Laurie's been attending school part-time,
Hoefully she'll finish...
Without having a hard time!
We've added a new member
To our loving family,
His name is
Andrew Lawrence Roney!
He's been a pure joy
And a real blessing too
Not only to us
But all of you too!
He entered our lives
In April this year
He hugs us and kisses us
He is just dear!
Andrew will have
A rough road ahead
One surgery down,
The other we dread!
The palate is fixed
The nose is the next
Glad the doctor's are good...
It could be complex.
He might look different,
Just a little bit,
But his heart is intact
And what a good fit.
Andrew is a happy
And healthy little boy,
Santa for sure
Will bring him some toys.
He loves to sing
And dance to tunes,
He also loves to sit
And watch cartoons.
We love this little guy
With all of our hearts,
Someday......
He'll be a doctor of the arts... :o)
We never imagined
We would feel this way
Up until the start
Of that fateful day!
We have asked Andrew
"How would you like a brother
Or sister",
He answers us
In one big tongue- twister.
Who knows what God
Has in store for us,
Whatever it is
We will be blessed!
So...until later
When there is more to tell
We're all doing great,
We're all doing well!
