Well, I must say that we have been pretty busy in the last five months. We've done almost everything, but still have a lot to do!! At the beginning of the summer we visited Brian's parents in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina for the Memorial Day weekend. It was very nice to get away under different circumstances... :) Andrew had the greatest time at the beach, once he got used to it and of course, I cannot leave out Pop-pop's infamous car. Andrew thinks his pop pop is there for one reason and that is to let him play in his car. Of course in June Andrew underwent surgery to repair his cleft palate and he did amazingly well with his recovery! He continues to amaze Brian and I every single day! I need to write more frequently so I can remember things better because it seems now that I can't remember quite alot. My days seem to go faster and faster. This coming up Monday, September 30th, Andrew will start going to Celebree Learning Center every day instead of going to my sisters. We felt this was a better move since Andrew is not really "excelling" in school right now, he is actually very delayed and want him to be in a three year old class. This is very fine with Brian and I because we want what is best for Andrew and his future. Since the three year old class at his current school is on Tuesdays and Thursdays it didn't really give my sister a chance to have any day of the week to where she didn't have anything to do or anywhere to be at any specific time. Celebree is a learning center and Andrew will basically have school five days a week there and he'll be around more children which I think is very important! We went this week to check it out there and Andrew didn't want to leave. I guess that's a good sign. Andrew's new saying is "I'm Happy!", then he says, "Mommy happy, Daddy happy, Allie (our dog) happy, Andrew happy!". This really makes my day when he says this. He also likes to say, "Mommy..........whatcha doin'?" I love it! He is such a ham! |
