What's with the address change? Well, the old FAQ is still up, but I'm a bloody idiot and forgot my password. No, I've tried "password". I've also tried everything from "ASoIaF" to "Johnny Depp". I give up.

What the hell does "Sarillorn" mean anyway? The Sarillorn is actually a title. It's from The Sundered quartet by Michelle Sagara, which is ironic, since I never finished the series, and not from lack of trying - it went out of print. Well, makes the name all the more unique. The Sarillorn is an avatar, the female form of the name given to the "vessel of light". In the story, Erin/Sara/Sarillorn is a girl who gives up the light to walk on the dark side (literally). She falls for the vampirish Dark Lord dude (Stefanos - very Italian, no?) and changes his evil ways. Then she sorta gains immortality and sorta loses her memory and all this other shit. I don't know what happened to her at the end, but I like the name, and that's that.
Yeah... I think I do like your work. Where can I read more? I keep an online journal that I write in, like, every fortnight, due to my lack of a life and therefore any material to write about.
Didn't you used to have another journal under the name Vipress? Yep, at vipress dot scribble dot nu, but stupid Scribble removed all the archives without notification. I am so PISSED OFF. How could you?! I didn't complete my entry backup...! That's six months of my writing you tossed into empty cyberspace, you stupid fuckers.
What's this ASoIaF you're always going on about? Let me enlighten you, illiterate fool. ASoIaF is - duh - an acronym, and it stands for A Song of Ice and Fire, the fantasy event of this century. Penned by a brilliant man named George R. R. Martin and currently consisting of three volumes (A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords) and two supplementary short stories (The Hedge Knight and The Sworn Sword), it is a breathtakingly beautiful yet brutal saga of history, politics, war and magic that will rock your world. I idolize GRR like others worship JRR. =) These books are brilliant.

The Room - The Window | Your choice of the "stormy" window reveals a self-righteously pessimistic, potentially nihilistic personality. Your temperament is mysterious, dark, brooding, gloomy, powerful, changeable and ominous. You may exhibit anti-social behaviour such as raining on other people's parades. You may succumb to wild, uncontrollable urges with thunderous, brute force and violent expressiveness... You are colorful, with a love of painterly angst...
_____
Me according to Emode...
Personality: The Critic | "You are complex and thoughtful. You look beneath the surface. You're good at chess (or would be if you played). Pondering deep thoughts sounds better to you than going out on the town. But you can be so critical and introspective that even positive qualities can seem like faults. You carry quite a few burdens on those little shoulders of yours. Sometimes the world seems so gloomy that you just want to crawl up in your cozy bed and sleep it off. You hate chaos at work and prefer a structured environment. Sometimes you feel undervalued by your boss, but everyone notices your motivation and talent. You wish you dressed snappier."
Colour: Brown | "You're a credible, stable color that's reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you're a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you're probably a great problem solver. Easily intrigued, you're constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it's by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view."
Signature Colour: Sterling Blue | "Serious, intellectual types like you meet their match with a cool color that sparkles with the same striking intelligence as you do. While you may not be the person at the party kicking off the karaoke, you're probably the one starting up stimulating conversations and making your cohorts chuckle with your quick wit. You're likely to have an insatiable curiosity that's catchy, and friends who know that you are a great person to turn to when they need a logical head to help them sort through their problems. You probably have a way of keeping things deep that people truly appreciate!"
Flavour: Mocha | "Strong and rich — but not too sweet — you're the flavor of late nights and early mornings. A coffeehouse regular, you've cornered the market on deep thoughts and probably have a little more than your fair share of brains. In fact, those who know you may even consider you an intellectual, a label that suits you just fine. Deep and thoughtful, you love the academic life — or at least the structured pursuit of knowledge."
Movie Star Double: Cate Blanchett | "An intellectual like you needs to be played by someone who understands how to be deep without being boring, someone who can grasp complicated subjects and make them seem clear cut, someone like Cate Blanchett... Were you sometimes the kid in class who realized when the teacher made a mistake — even if you didn't always point it out?"
Romantic Pattern: The Mentor and the Protégé | "...love grows out of deeper need to learn and understand other aspects of your life through the teachings of someone else. Love isn't the only thing you're after. You want power, success, attention, maybe even fame. You want to be recognized, doted on, and adored for your talents. And the object of your desire is the person best suited to provide you with these things — a boss, a mentor, a teacher, or a troubled genius."
High School Identity: The Brooding Artist | "Laughing in homeroom, crying in third period, brooding at lunchtime. It's nothing serious — just part of the act for a brooding artist like yourself. Whether it's acting, painting, writing, or interpretive dance, your channels of expression might have made you a little 'different' in high school. ...observing the absurdity of high school. The same insight that you had back then just might help make you famous some day (if it hasn't already)."
Pop Star Style: Deep and Soulful | "You project a cool, intellectual vibe, and your friends and family are probably often impressed (and maybe a little intimidated) when you wax philosophical. To those who really get you... your passionate and profound nature burn[s] more brightly."
Soap Opera Scenario: The Double Crosser | "...Whether you've got your own agenda, or someone else's in your sights, is anyone's guess. You... are probably playing for different sides of good and evil... Who says the good guy always wins?"
Back-to-School Destiny: The Artist (again) | "You've got your own style and your own way of looking at the world — you might even have a reputation for being a little eccentric. But it's your individualistic streak and way of expressing your unique views that makes you a true artist. Sure, some may call you sensitive. ...You're a creative wonder and the world's waiting for your next masterpiece."
Beauty Pageant: Miss Originality | "They just don't make many like you. You're an independent thinker who creates her own style in everything you do... Your unique way of looking at the world makes you a lot of fun to hang around..."
Celebrity Soulmate: Johnny Depp (!!!) | "You're probably not one to take the path most traveled. In fact, an independent spirit like you would much rather carve out your own special niche. So it's only natural that your romantic match would be required to do the same. Someone who's unique, intelligent, maybe a bit serious and brooding is right for the part. An indie actor like Johnny Depp seems best suited for that role..."
