Striving for Happiness in a chaotic world

A proper time and place for weapons and armor

Learn how to apply the ancient teachings of Odin’ path to Valhalla to modern life.

Mythology often portrays a struggle where a hero strives to overcome obstacles, the echoes of his own past, to unite with his divine self.  The anthology of the path to Valhalla is just such a lesson for those who wish to lessen the burdens of life.

Valhalla best translates as “choice hall” where warriors safely live without the need of weapons of offence or shields of defence. Although the saga1 can be read as just a story, it can also provide meaning and purpose for our daily life.  For within the heart of the warrior, a feeling of safety and calm radiates outward to affect all of the warrior's life.

There are many barriers that we, in our effort to unite with our divine selves, must overcome to reach Valhalla. Each of the lessons of the class are designed to not only to identify the obstacles, but to help us understand how to overcome these, self put, barriers.  Like the struggle of the Edda’s elect, each day begins a new struggle as we are reborn and have the chance, again, to stand, walk and live as warriors.

To quote Elsa– Brita1 as she refers to Grimmismal, (Grimmer’s lay) “This may be the most explicit esoteric instruction concerning the composition of the worlds to be found in any at extant mythology, and Odin, in disguise, it explains to his pupil the construction of our universe from the loftiest levels of divinity to the basis matter worlds..
