Footprints On My Heart Oh the Christmas Future is what I look forward to, spending all my futures spending Christmases with YOU. I've had the snow white Christmases with icicles all around and children playing in the snow and snow fights all around. I've had the fireplace with stockings filled with all sorts of candy and toys but the one I look forward to most will bring me the greatest joys it's all the future Christmases I'll be spending with YOU. The Christmas tree at my house is not your typical tree. You won't find tinsel and icicles but remembrances of you and me. At the foot of the tree are your slippers a remembrance of when I washed your feet as I humbled myself as your servant for your slave you will not make me be. It's to tell you I'll gladly serve you all the future Christmases of you with me. Each Christmas ball has a picture of memories that we've made to remind me of how blessed that I am and the future that we will make with the Christmases we've yet to share. At the top of the tree is a heart, not your typical Christmas tree star. Across it are your footprints, the ones you have left on my heart. My Christmas tree branches are swaying from a gentle Hawaiian breeze that carries the music you're playing that sends me to my knees and I gratefully thank God for sending me the songs that you are playing with your Footprints On My Heart.
