When the tinsel is gone
from your Christmas tree
and the presents have all
been unwrapped, 
close your eyes, 
make a wish.......

When the fireworks are lit
and the New Year begins
and I am not there to kiss,

and the stars in the sky

I wish I were the present
under your Christmas tree
all wrapped up in tinsel.

and moonlit skies
but none can compare
to the love light in your eyes,

I wish you sunshiny days
