My Indian Prayer

Oh how I love the Indian flute music.
It is soothing to this savage beast,
transcending me to 
the deepest longings of my heart. 
Where is my Strong Warrior?

Oh, Great One bring him to me; 
teach me of his ways.
Teach me so I grow 
to love and understand him more,
to learn the heritage of his people, 
walk beside him hand in hand.

Give to him a hunger for my breasts, 
burning passions just for me.
Give to him a boundless craving 
to keep me locked 
forever in his heart.

I long for him to hold me 
ever gentle in his bosom;
wrap me safely in his strong arms, 
protecting me from harm.

His strength, oh, Mighty Great One, 
is in his manhood more than his physique.
His power is his knowledge 
and strength for love of You.
 
Steadfast in his fellowship with You, 
oh, Mighty Great One,
he will be the spiritual leader 
in our household.

He'll not curse me for my being.  
He will bless and lift my spirit.
His dreams will be my dreams; 
my dreams will be his. 

Carry my thoughts upon Your wings; 
bring him home to me.
Guide him safely with Your love and care.  
Oh, Great One, where is he?

Protect him from the evil one; 
shield him from all harm.
Bring him swiftly to me, 
my Strong and Mighty Warrior,
to my longing, waiting arms.
