| Our Father's Day gift to Ron was a puppet show. The kids and I had fun practicing and preparing to do our "special presentation". - That was Amani's line from the show. She was supposed to say- "our special Father's Day show", but "our special presentation" came out. Amani= 3 yr. old? WOW! |
| The show opened with the theme song from the movie "Shaft" playing. I made up lyrics about Ron to fit with the music and when it was the kids turn they said BaBa! (father in Swahili), instead of Shaft! |
| We sang several songs to Ron, with lines of speech in between that the kids had memorized. We had as much fun doing the show as Ron did watching it. I knew that Ron wouldn't enjoy a wallet or a tie, so we had to put our creativity hats on and this is what came out. |
| Ron thoroughly enjoyed his private and personal show produced by his children and loving wife. We hope all father's felt as special this past Father's Day as Ron did at his house. I think this show helped him to see how much we love our BaBa! |
