Here are the results of a BB gun, shot through our front door by our next door neighbor's son and his friend. Thankfully no one was hurt- Praise God !
The kids and I were home in the living room when it happened. The angels were definitely on duty, because Malek and Amani were playing right in front of this window just 5-10 min. before this happened. Out of the blue, I went over and closed the blinds and turned on a video for the kids. Then 5- 10 min. later POW!
Initally I was unsure what happened. I cleared the living room and slowly approached the front door. Through the blinds I could see that the entire front window was shattered. The police came by and filed their report. Later, Ron got a confession from one of the boys involved.
Conclusion: We may have to get the entire front door replaced.
Once again everyone is physically fine. Ron- frustrated to have to deal with this situation. Susan- shaken, scared, and angry. The parents were not home when it happened, and the boy was probably showing off his gun to his friend in the FRONT yard.
Needless to say my sense of security is not the same. I am just thankful that everyone is safe and Jesus promised in His Word that He would never leave us nor forsake us. God is faithful !!
