Journal Page 2 June 21st- The Midsummer Revel The Midsummer Celebration is quite a successful one too... though the plan of going to San Joaquin was not pushed through. We went to Kayang instead to have a meeting and talk about the group. After the meeting when most of the members went home... the one's left did a Thanksgiving Ritual for the said event... Members Present Morgh, Spirax, Bane, Ethala, Malandraj, Aubyma, Nifilheim and Damienne (the Special Guest) Lughnasadh August 1, 2003 I celebrated the feast alone in my room... I made corn dollies and gave it to everyone... Well I dont have much to say... till next time! -Bane- Samhain October 31, 2003 The celebration was very successful, everyone was present and each one partaked the feast brought by Lady Diwani. After the ritualistic thanksgiving, we were offered parchments to write down our wishes... We wore our robes during the affair. The whole group contributed to the preparation...I brought some "pumpkin-ple", Diwani brought some sweets and the apple cider, Damienne brought doughnuts, others brought french bread and cheezcurls. January 23, 2004 While everybody in the city of Iloilo enjoyed the Kasadyahan Festival, Malandraj, Ethala and me went to the historic town of Guimbal...our primary reason is to check the sighting of the local people of a duwende... so we went to the place of the said sighting... the large tree was located near the road by the high school. After roaming around the vicinity for a little while we went to the beach where the Ocean sunfish was found (the fish is said to be a sign of goodluck as said by the local fisherfolks). I also took the oppurtunity to write about Guimbal (for the school paper), we visited the church, the plaza, the town hall and the cemetary... That's all folks!
