| Brief Information about Seventh Gift By Miles and D We are a group of people known as Seventh Gift. We play rock music. It's hard to explain what we sound like. So I guess you will have to come hear us for yourself. would have to say we are a heavy uplifting experimental sound. There are four male humans in this band. At our birth into this band we recieved new names to be known by: Guitarist 1 - John G "LeadFoot" Singer - Miles "Mouse" Guitarist 2 - Daniel "Ta Tonka" Drummer - John "John Henry" We started this band in the early fall of 2003. What the weird thing is, back in “1972” the four of us came together, to jam in this shed in the middle of the desert. Not knowing years later that we would become a group. | April 15, 2004 We plan to play on the 23rd. But John G. Blew up his amp! So we are trying to find a new one before the show. Robert (the bassest from Sleeping to Dream) is going to join our band after summer. Sleeping to Dream is going to break up because of college. He is a great bassist. | April 26, 2004 Thanks again to all the people who came out to the show last friday at the D.I. It was a good show. Every Band put on a good performence. Also thank you Mavrick, Dubari, Fighting the Tide, Stricken, and Long Walk Home. Right now we are trying to get our poop together. So we are working on getting new equipment and maybe doing a little demo. So yeah Stick with us... And Last but not least Thanks to Jay R. the sound guy. ~ Ta Tonka |
| May 9, 2004 Hello, well not too much in the 7th gift world. One interesting thing a week or so ago, was John G deastroyed his guitar. So he is using my back up guitar till he gets a new one. Yeah he beat the crap out of it! Then he started wrestling with it. Happy Mother's Day! I hope all you mother's have a grand of a day. So yeah we are just writing new stuff, and trying to figure out what we are going to do for guitars and amps... We haven't planned another show yet but were willing to play one. so yeah i have to get my butt into gear and get us one. well take care ~ TA Tonka |
| June 9, 2004 Summer is coming up meaning more time. Hopefully... Well i haven't updated the sight for a whole month i feel like i'm slacking. Well we have been going through a lot of equipment recently. John G is finally sticking with his warp 7 amp. John Henry needs repair his drums just like I need to work on my guitar. But all that costs money. Over the summer we are going to make a little cheap demo. So people can start hearing it. So yeah the plan is to work some more at the band thing over summer.
