~Love Me Like He Does~

 

I hate to say no.

I hate having to say it even more to you.

But what else can I do?

What can I say to make the sting of rejection heal,

the hurt of the word said again and again?

Nothing, that's what.

You wonder why I can't love you.

It's because there is another.

Tall, handsome, and sweet, he rules my life,

He gives only love, and listens to my every wish, my every thought.

He makes all my dreams come true.

So why isn't that man you?

It could be...just think it through.
