.::The Fabulous Five::..

Here are my ultra fabulous five cats. Yes, the fabulous five. All of them are strays...it sometimes seems like we've got a huge neon sign above our house "STRAY CATS COME HERE!"....but I love them and that's all that matters right?

Peaches -

This is Peaches. She's Queen of Everything, second in command. (I'm first in command :-D) She's been with us for about...well...5 years maybe? She really does think the world belongs to her though. Her favorite past time is hitting the other cats in the house and killing small animals. It's the funniest thing to watch her come waltzing up to the house with a rabbit twice her size. Oh, and she HATES hugs....but we're cruel and bought her a teddy bear sweater anyway. (Side Note: The "I Love Hugs" sweater mysteriously disappeared one evening. It's no longer in use, and I get the feeling that as long as Peaches is alive, we won't ever find it).

Buster-

Everybody's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed cat. And who is sharper than Buster T. Cat, wearing a tuxedo 24/7. Buster is hard to explain...he's young at heart and loves to play "Fire Engine" with my cat, Sierra (see below). In our house, he's the first one to shake your hand and introduce himself. His hobbies are sleeping and annoying the other cats at his leisure. He's about 7 years old...and very much the ambassador. Look at him...he's got the perfect politician stance. And ladies, he's the perfect gentleman, so if you ever need a good looking date for that cocktail party or dance, Buster is your guy!

Cleo-

Cleo is the cute innocent cat of the family. She's very quiet and unintrusive and is never bothersome. Even when she wants food, she the cutest, sweetest thing you'd ever want to meet! She enjoys sleeping and hunting, but it's hard to say what else. She comes inside to sleep and eat, and occasionally sleep on my bed with me. She also your typical outcast. She's a crippled kitty (yeah...right), missing two toes on one of her back feet, and she gets picked on a lot. Mostly by Peaches; no surprise there. She's learning though, and it's our favorite thing to watch her get a hit back in on one of the other cats!

Sierra -

This is my big boy, Sierra. He's named after the Sierra Mountains. I got him when I was very young (he's almost 13 now) and wanted to name him Sara after a cat I had just lost in a thunderstorm. Dad told me that Sara wasn't the best name for a male cat, so we went with the closest thing that I liked- Sierra. He weighs 26 pounds, and enjoys sleeping, eating, and licking the bottom of the windows in the winter to feel the condensation on his tongue. Watching him run is a treat to be enjoyed...actually, he doesn't run. He lumbers. But he's so cute, it doesn't matter. Sierra's only downside is the fact that he licks anything and everything. Including my pillows before I lay down, and the inside of my ear if I'm not getting up or paying him enough attenion. Yuck.

Zoom -

And last but certianly not least is Zoom. He's got several names, one of which being...Zoomeroomie Sugarmuffin Honey Bunches of Oats. He's also called "The Godfather", because if you're good to Zoomie, Zoomie's good to you. But if you're not good, it ain't pretty lol. Zoom is the perfect cat, I swear. He's got the softest fur and is never dirty... He loves to be around people and even people who don't like cats usually enjoy his company. He's the only cat we have that we actually know his breed. Zoom is a Manx cat, and had a tail of only 3 inches. He was also a drop off, and came with Sierra because they were both the runts of the litter and just couldn't live without each other. If he could, he'd be a human...he actually stands on the counter in the bath room while I brush my teeth every night. But he's my little boy and I love him no matter what!!
