my favorite place to visit here in the u.s. is probably new york. not only is it a great city with lots to do, but most of my mom's side of the family lives there, and i love spending time with them, especially my cousins. i haven't been back to new york since 2000, but when i was younger i used to visit new york quite often. it's a place that has gotten a bad rep over the years. yes some parts of it are dangerous, and yes you probably shouldn't walk alone in brooklyn at 3:30 in the morning. however, the people of new york are some of the friendliest and nicest people you could ever meet.
i'm very eager to visit england one of these days. it's a country that i've always been fascinated with. the culture, the accents, the history. it's a place i know i would enjoy. not to mention the fact that i have an aunt and cousins there whom i've never met. i know i'll make it there eventually. i just hope it's sometime soon. +
