UPDATE: March 07, 2004 Okay, I guess I am guilty of not updating as often as I should, but that's because I've been busy with other parts of my life. Insignificant things like survival, you know? Anyways, I revamped the look and feel of the whole site. From a rainbow-colored background to a mysterious black setting. I also moved the navigation to the side of the page for easier access.
As for updates, well, I would have to remove the Fanmail to Gayle section from the site. I lost a lot of my computer files and I dunno how to get them back. But to make up for the lost stuff, I decided to upload a few downloads for your pleasure. So I'll add a couple of wallpapers and a couple of Winamp skins. I'll also add a download for an evaluation version mp3 of I Can't Tell You Why. There, I guess that'd more than make up for the lost things in here.
Please do continue writing on the guestbook. It's one of the things which keeps this site up. Please keep on hitting the site, and I'll post more updates as soon as I could.

UPDATE: February 01, 2004 Oh my Goodness! How time flies! It's been a long time since I updated this site. I wish to apologize to everybody for not keeping this site up-to-date. It's just that I've been too busy with different things so I wasn't able to have much of an online life. But the important thing is, I'm here again! And we can update this site for more Soul Sensation fun!
By the way, a milestone has occured in the life of The Soul Sensation fansite. Ms. Gayle Dizon has e-mailed me and told me how she appreciated the site! I feel really good, knowing that she liked the essays and the site. She promised to give us more pics and stuff, and I asked her for gig skeds of her band Acoustic Soul, and her message to us fans! So please stick around for more details as they become available. Thank you, Miss Gayle Dizon!
I am also very happy to co0me back and find that there are now a lot of fansites for the Star in a Million finalists. I am proud that i was one of the pioneers in these sites, and wish to tell everyone that we have done a great job. Let's all keep supporting the Stars of SIAM I, even though their part of the competition is over. their careers are now taking off, so let's be there for them! You can find the links to the other finalists sites in my links page, so please visit them and let them know what you think.

UPDATE: December 23, 2003 Hey guys! New stuff on the Gayle's Stuff page! I added my 2nd letter to Fanmail to Gayle so go check it out! And how about that moving thingie in the picture? I know zip about Flash, so I decided to settle with Image Ready.

UPDATE: December 19, 2003 Oh no! One of my friends accused me of being a "fake" Gayle Dizon fan. Why is that? It's because (I quote)"You spend more time on your Johann site than on your Gayle site". Well, sure I do. And it's no big secret that I also admire Johann. But it's because I still haven't finished uploading everything in my Johann site while The Soul Sensation fansite is almost complete. Besides, as much as I admire Johann, Gayle will always be MY Star in a Million.
But I will not tolerate that vile allegation, and to prove that I am a die-hard Gayle Dizon fan, I vow to update this site every week. Plus, I have also decided to incorporate a new feature exclusively for this site. I have decided to call it Fanmail to Gayle. It would be a weekly letter-slash-journal for Gayle. Thoughts, reflections, meditations, daily happenings, etc. It's like, "What would I say to Gayle about this particular topic and how would I say it?" It's just like a daily blog, but addressed to my favorite SIAM finalist.
Will she read it? I hope so, but I won't bet my lunch money on it. So what's the point? The point is I WANT TO! I want to show everybody that everyday could be a "Gayle" kind of day. And my idea of a "Gayle" kind of day is a pleasant, musical and God-fearing day.
Curious? I certainly hope so, because I'm going to give you guys a whole Gayle-load of blatherings. Just proceed to my Gayle's Stuff Page and click the link there.
To my friend who questioned my loyalty to Gayle, egg on your face! never question the power of admiration and inspiration. To Gayle, I miss seeing you every week on Star in a Million. Welcome to my Unofficial Fansite for Ms. Patrice Gayle Dizon, my favorite Star in a Million Candidate. Sure, she got voted out of the contest by the 2nd Episode (which made me violently ill), but she's still my favorite candidate. I will surely push for her to be signed on by Star Records if they want my continued patronage (He he, nanakot ba?).
I've been following Gayle ever since she started in the competition, and I've been hooked ever since. And now that she's got a cut in two albums (Star in a Million Soundtrack and Weekend Love), you can bet it's been blasting through the house for days. I really love Gayle. Even through the TV screen, you could feel the talent, raw emotion and a cute personality from this girl. And this is what prompted me to create this website. To share my deep admiration for Ms. Gayle Dizon.
I'll post a few Gayle screen-caps from her music video I Can't Tell You Why, the meager bio info which I scampered from news clippings and webpages (just wait until I meet her personally. I'd interview her then and ask her for her whole resume) and articles and poetry on Gayle. Since she was booted off the show at the 2nd Ep, I can't really update as often as I'd like to. You guys would just have to wait until she becomes a full-fledged singer (and I don't doubt that this will happen) before I could update it again. Kasi, by then, I can add album releases, tour dates and maybe even movies! Pero let's not go there just yet. Our idol is still young enough to enjoy her life first.
