Held every Tuesday for years, the open mic is an all-ages listening environment with an emphasis on original material. (No covers, please.) Musicians get two songs and speakers get ten minutes and must sign-up that evening after doors open (first come-first serve). PA provided. The format is usually acoustic, although full bands are doable. We also ask that you keep in mind the all-ages aspect when picking which material you'd like to present. On Tuesday nights our coffee bar is expanded and serves nearly 150 different flavors of tea, some from the far reaches of the globe. In addition we have coffees, juices, sodas, and snacks. Open mic is anchored by a full set from a featured act around 9 PM. Our features vary wildly from orchestral rock extravaganzas to unexpected showcases from long-standing folk artists to everything else around and in between. Recently we've been adding a second featured act later in the night at 11 PM. If you're a night owl, we offer reduced admission after 10:30 PM. (And a free cup of coffee!) |

| If You've Bought Advance Tickets Online If you bought tickets through this website for a show here, all you need to do to prove your purchase is print out the email confirmation that PayPal sends you. You won't be receiving tickets in the mail, just the email confirmation. If you lose or delete the confirmation, don't worry, we'll have the purchaser's name at the door that evening as a back-up. Got A Cool Picture Of A Show Here? Send It Over! One thing we've wanted to do a for a long while is start a picture gallery of the various shows we do here at The Space. If you're at a show and snap a cool photo, send it on in! We'll post it up in our Picture Gallery with your name. You can email photos to our Info address - info@thespace.tk Don't worry if you don't receive a response. Your pictures are not going down a black hole never to appear again. We're just trying to assemble a kick-yo-butt gallery of the best pics before putting anything up. We ARE receiving your photos and saving them. |
