A SPIRITUAL CODE OF ETHICS
Always treat others how you would like to be treated
A Woman who ran a circle that I had just joined was giving an example of Clairvoyance. She turned to me with a blank face and said... "Your eldest Son will not see his 21st Brithday". {At that time, my eldest Son was  only four}.
Not surprisingly I never bothered to go back.  I knew that Negative Ego had been the motive behind the words... but the seed had already been planted.
Although I tried not to think about what was said, those words were always there in the back of my mind.
If I had allowed myself to dwell on them, I could have actually created a reality within her prediction {Such is the power of the mind}
As my Son's 21st birthday grew close, I felt panic set in. Finally his Birthday came and went by without incident.

As a Mother...I believe that this would be one of the cruelest things that anyone could say, but as a Medium... It helped me to understand what thoughtless and uncaring words could do to someone.... and so I resolved never to hurt anyone like I had been hurt that night.
I came to understand the importance of Ethics.
There's no Power that is yours...
A Woman came to me for a Tarot Reading and as I was preparing to Channel her Reading, she kept repeating that no one had ever been able to do a reading for her before because she was too Powerful.
Suddenly, the words just popped out of my mouth...
"You're just a Teapot".
There was stunned silence... Then I realized what had happened...
"OK you Guy's"... I said to my Guides quietly... "You started this and now you can finish it"
.
So began the Analogy of the Teapot.
1.
2.
The Visitor
The Preparation
If a visitor arrives at your house, you ask them if they would like a cup of tea. If they say no... you wouldn't force them to have one anyway.
So it is with Reading... Respect the wishes and privacy of others.
When you make a pot of tea... It takes preparation. You have to boil the water, warm the pot, take off the lid to pour everything in....
Channeling is the same. Preparation is important if you want to Channel correctly. Take the time and open up properly.
You need to open the lid of the teapot before you can make a cup of tea.
3.
The handle
The handle represents a persons morals and thought patterns. Would you use a teapot with a cracked handle? Of course not. It may break off and someone could get scalded.
4.
The Base
The Base of the teapot represents Grounding.  If a teapots base is not solidly placed on the ground, it will tip from side to side creating a possibility of it falling over and someone being scalded.
Stability and Grounding is Paramount.
5.
The Body
The tea is brewed in the teapots body. This part of the teapot represents your Channels. It is up to you to keep them clean. Would you make coffee or hot Chocolate in a Teapot? If you did the tea's  taste would be tainted and not taste like tea at all. The teapot could be used to make tea again...
but only after a long painful scrubbing.
6.
The Spout
The spout of the Teapot is you mouth and how you use it to deliver the messages from within your Channels.
There is an etiquette to the pouring and presentation to a cup of tea.
Remember...
A good cup of tea is enjoyed by all.
Spirtual Ethics is simply using your common sense... and to be aware of the sensitivities of the person that you are working with.
There is no Power that is yours... You are simply a teapot... utensil that is used by Spirit to reach out and help others in need.
