Anyone for Mars?
I think that for reasons of rank, character and plot progression David Theroux would end up going to Mars. Pal and Colin would squabble and canvas for support to be Nathan's second in command. A new Star Cop character could also be introduced. If a new character wasn't given it, I think Colin would be promoted if only to let Pal bitch about it (which she does so well) and to allow her relationship with Nathan to cool. After all they would want to keep us guessing, at the rate they were going in the first series this would have happend by episode 12!

As far as what happens on Mars; I can imagine an episode where a member of the Mars base crew goes down with a murderous version of Wolfhart fever and starts bumping of the other crew one by one. David has no back up and no idea who's doing it. Panicky delayed transmisions to Moonbase with the light reflecting from his hair asking for Nathan's help. The old gang hanging around the speaker with bated breath. Then David could chop the murderer down to size with his wooden acting skills.

If only the 2nd series had been made. Sigh.
