Records
The theme song 'It Won't Be Easy' was sung by Justin Hayward.
It was released in 1987 by the BBC as a single and a 12". The single had the theme song on side one and 'Outer Space' on side two. The 12" had both of these on side two and an extended version of 'It Won't Be Easy' on side one.
Lyrics
It was also released on the The Best Of BBC TV's Themes CD.

Uniform Badges
I've been informed that when some lucky people purchased their videos they also received embroidered ISPF and Moonbase patches. Apparently these were made by Stewart Aviation. Unfortunately the company no longer has them in stock and has not retained the designs but will produce badges from designs sent to them.

Fanzine
supposed fanzine
This badly printed, supposed fanzine used to be sold online but unfortunately only contains articles and interviews freely available online. An interview, many of the pages of information and a variety of pictures have all been taken off this site without permission. I strongly recommend that this 'publication’ be avoided.

The first book An Instinct For Murder is unsurprisingly based on the first Star Cops episode. There are some significant changes from the TV version. It also contains teasers for the other episodes Chris Boucher wrote which are contained in the second book .....
Unfortunately as of September 2007 both are out of print.

The DVD is still for sale if you look hard.

Things I asked for;
Clip from a TV show about the creation of the special effects. It was broadcast the week before the first episode and was the reason I tuned in. I thought it had been on Blue Peter?
If anyone else remembers this can they let me know.

What does the future hold for Star Cops?

Unfortunately the prospect of any further Star Cops novels looks Doubtful.

I hope that someone somewhere will find a copy of the Death On The Moon script. Anyone...?
An even greater sucess would be if the week of rehersals for Death On The Moon had been recorded. It would give a virtually complete audio episode.

The chances of this happening are extremely slight :-(

BUT

   The Magic Bullet Campaign

Have you ever pondered why a second series was never made?
Have you ever thought would Nathan and Pal ever have 'worked' more closely together?
Have you ever wondered was there someone for Mars?

If you have...

Send an email!

Magic Bullet produce a range of audio episodes for such licences as Kaldor City and Faction Paradox. If you think Magic Bullet should continue their good work into the realms of Star Cops send an email to webmaster@kaldorcity.com and let them know.
