Happy Birthday, Moochie!

Disclaimer: I do not know Mr. Colin Mochrie personally, and I hope that it is not a problem that I use his name for this humble fan fic of mine. Thanks also to my best online buddy, Jamie (Moochie) for the use of her name. I hope you had the best birthday ever. This is my gift to you. Please enjoy. You’ll also be happy to know that this is my FIRST short fan fic. YAY!!! I did it. Love ya! BTW, everything in this fan fic is a figment of my imagination. :-) Keep smiling and keep writing fan fic! *Cherry*

Jamie Estotë’s tears slowly tumbled down her rosy cheeks and carefully bounced off her chin. Her sobbing had started when she recalled a certain day. She recalled a day in her distant past, about six months ago, on the day of her birthday, her boyfriend, Colin Mochrie had dropped by her house to see her. He had brought her a dozen fresh, silky red roses "just because." The two had talked that day for hours…

"Jamie, I’m…wow, this is surprisingly hard for me to say…" Colin choked out.

Jamie grew worried. "What is it, Col?"

"I’m…what I’m trying to say is that…I’m…I’m in love with you."

"What?!" She flushed.

"It’s true." He said sincerely. The dazzling gleam in his eyes begged her for some kind of a positive response but she did not say one word.

There was a short pause, and finally she stuttered, "I don’t, uh…I don’t know what to say."

Colin decided to take a real risk and knelt down on one knee. He grabbed Jamie’s hands with his own for a second than reached into his jacked pocket and pulled out a jewelry box. He slowly opened the box, which contained a sparkly, luxurious diamond ring.

Jamie’s emerald green eyes flashed but she found herself speechless when Colin said, "Jamie, will you marry me?"

She was shocked. "I…I…" She stood up and let go of his hands.

"Sweetie," Jamie’s mother said, "You’re a mess. You’d better stop crying or you’re gonna be late."

"Thanks Mom." She said, as she took a tissue from her mother, who then reapplied blush to her daughter’s now pale cheeks.

"You look fabulous, honey."

"I’m scared."

"Don’t worry, it will all be over soon. She adjusted Jamie’s vail, "You’re all set."

"Ready sweetie?" That was her father. Jamie nodded, and her father proceeded to escort her down the isle.
