YORK’S ADMINISTRATION



The strike at York is conflict between two groups: The Board of Governors, and CUPE 3903.

The Board of Governors make the final decision on how all money that is taken from our taxes and tuition is spent at York. They are unelected, and consist of wealthy individuals with a heavy corporate background. They have the final say on all financial matters at York, including raising tuition fees.
