Chatham is located between the Shadyside and Squirrel Hill residential districts of Pittsburgh. The campus is six miles from downtown Pittsburgh, the urban anchor of Western Pennsylvania. Please refer to the following for instructions on how to get to Chatham.

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (east or west):

1. Take exit 6 and follow I-376 (the Parkway) west towards Pittsburgh.
2. (The campus is 12 miles from exit 6.)
3. Continue on the Parkway through the Squirrel Hill tunnel and exit immediately after the tunnel at exit 8 (Squirrel Hill).
4. Merge to the extreme left and follow the exit ramp to the left (toward Squirrel Hill).
5. Proceed to the multiway intersection (Forward and Murray Avenues) and bear left onto Murray Avenue.
6. Turn right on Wilkins and within one-half block turn left onto Woodland Road which leads directly to campus.

From the north:

1. Take I-79 to I-279. Stay on 279 until you reach I-376 (the Parkway) to Monroeville.
2. Continue on the Parkway to exit 8 (Squirrel Hill).
3. Merge to the extreme left and follow the exit ramp to the left (toward Squirrel Hill).
4. Proceed to the multiway intersection (Forward and Murray Avenues) and bear left onto Murray Avenue.
5. Turn right on Wilkins and within one-half block turn left onto Woodland Road which leads directly to campus.

From the south:

1. Take I-79 to I-279.
2. On the downtown side of the Fort Pitt Tunnel, I-279 becomes I-376.
3. Follow I-376 to exit 8 (Squirrel Hill).
4. Merge to the extreme left and follow the exit ramp to the left (toward Squirrel Hill).
5. Proceed to the multiway intersection (Forward and Murray Avenues) and bear left onto Murray Avenue.
6. Turn right on Wilkins and within one-half block turn left onto Woodland Road which leads directly to campus.

From the Airport:

The Pittsburgh International Airport is served by several major airlines with flights to and from most cities in the United States. Flight time between Pittsburgh and Boston, Chicago, New York City, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, or St. Louis is 1 1/2 hours or less. Chatham is 23 miles from the airport. At least an hour should be allowed if visitors plan to use limousine service from the airport.

1. From the airport, take I-279 (also Routes 22 & 30) toward Pittsburgh.
2. Pass through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and continue across the Fort Pitt Bridge.
3. From the right lane, exit to I-376 towards Monroeville.
4. Follow I-376 to exit 8 (Squirrel Hill).
5. Merge to the extreme left and follow the exit ramp to the left (toward Squirrel Hill). Proceed to the multiway intersection (Forward and Murray Avenues) and bear left onto Murray Avenue.
6. Turn right on Wilkins and within one-half block turn left onto Woodland Road, which leads directly to campus.
