Ad-Aware has come out with its latest version of its program which removes spyware, or products placed by companies in downloads that track web surfers and show ads. It is extremely efficient at removing them and comes in a free version or a plus version. Visit their web page by clicking here.

Kazaa File-Sharing

After the demise of Napster, other file-sharing programs cropped up to take its place. This, so far, has been one of the better ones. It can download music, video, and software opposed to Napster's ability only for music. Download it here.

Opera Browser

This browser is similar in design to Microsoft Internet Explorer, but with some added perks. For one, pop-up windows can be completely turned off, meaning no more annoying pop-up ads. There are also several integrated search bars, so you don't have to go to a search engine to find something. Opera is far superior to any other browser in my opinion.
