TAMPA - About 20 Theta Beta Alumni Attended the Fall Inititation ceremonies for the Theta Beta Chapter. Held at St. Mark's Chruch in Cross Creek, the ceremony went very well, as we welcomed 13 new brothers into our chapter.
Alumni interested in attending the Spring Inititation should contact either Jim Johnson or Dennis Valenti. Once the ceremony is scheduled, an announcement will be sent.
11/04/01 - A Successful Homecoming
TAMPA - Theta Beta Alumni began a new tradition around homecoming, organizing activites for the parade and the football game, and holding a ritual meeting.
Friday, November 2, 2001 - The parade was a lot of fun. Alumni gathered in front of the Alumni Center to watch the floats pass by.
Saturday, November 3, 2001 - Sigma Chi participated in the first ever "Tent City" at the USF Alumni Association Homecoming Tailgate Party. A number of Theta Beta Alumni stopped by and enjoyed the barbeque, and we met alumni from FSU, UNF, and Arkansas.
The football game was a blowout as USF beat Conference USA member the University of Houston Cougars 45-6. It shows that we do belong with the big boys.
Sunday, November 4, 2001 - A number of Sigs got together the next morning for breakfast, followed by a ritual meeting. It was good to experience the ritual with our brothers.
Homecoming 2002 promises to be bigger and more fun. If you didn't make it this year, we hope you can make it next year.
