Propaganda in Nazi Germany
The Nazi Party relied on propaganda a lot.  Newsreels, Newspapers, books and magazines were just some of the things that were censored.
The propaganda always showed the ideal Nazi family and values.
Dr.Joseph Goebbels was made Minister of Propaganda in 1933 by Hitler.
Every Town had a loudspeaker in the Square so the people could
listen to round the clock propaganda and speeches by leading Party
Members.  Cheap Radio sets were produced from 30RM in price so that
even the German Working class could hear the speeches by Adolf Hitler
and his party.
Newspapers had to conform to the rules set by the Government and were
closed down if they printed anything against the Nazi's.
In 1938 there was a mass book burning of Jewish books that the government claimed:
"Corrupted the German people".
Leading Composers, such as Mendelssohn (Who was Jewish), and writers who were not Aryan or against the government were banned.
Every Year Mass rallies were held at the huge Nuremburg Stadium often packing in 400,000 supporters, soldiers and the Hitler Youth.  Each person was exactly 0.75 metres apart and at attention when leaders such as Hitler, Goebbles or Himmler spoke.
Hitler Believed that:
"The ability of the masses to take in information is limited so all effective propaganda must be kept to key, easy to understand points."
He was a gifted speaker and would practice in front of a mirror.
There was an official church of the Nazi Party, the Reichkirche, which preached anti-semetic ideas.
