Blue Cards used for keeping track of merit badges are still in use as well as the computer generated forms from the camps. To start a Blue Card 1. *Correction: BSA may choose to change the requirements on merit badges. Once a badge has been started by the scout and council changes the badge requirements, the scout has three months from the date of change to complete the original requirements. If that three-month time period passes, the scout has to copmplete the new requirements.
Check the Boy Scout Requirements Book which gives current dates of merit badge books to be sure the correct achievements are being completed. New book will be available January 2006.
