Committee News:
Game Night: Successful – 10 scouts in attendance. Played video games, board games and cards.
Next Roundtable Meeting: Feb. 2 in San Bernardino for ideas on troop organization and activities.
Cindy Geers to handle rechartering of the troop.
Annual Dues - Jan 17 meeting, bring $45 check for dues for the new year which includes a subscription to Boy’s Life.
Feb. 26 – Blue and Gold - Alex Amato in charge of recruiting help from our troop to set up bridge, etc. at the incoming scouts Blue and Gold ceremony.
Summer Camp – Fiesta Island in San Diego is July 9-15, 2006. Total cost is $290. Initial deposit of $75 is due at the Jan. 17 meeting to hold your spot. Second installment: Feb. 21 - $75, third installment: Mar. 21 - $75 and fourth installment – Apr. 18 - $65. Alex Amato will contact cub scouts joining Troop 55 to reserve their summer camp reservation.
Activities:
Pinewood Derby – Feb. 11, 10 am – 2 p,m, Baptist Church (bar flooding).
New troop members can participate. Bring money for pizza.
Feb. 20, 9 :00 a.m. – Eagle Project work at Redlands Fire Station. Call Matt Maynard for details and to sign up.
March 4 – Hanger 18, Upland, noon – 3:00 p.m. Climbing merit badge is $35 or $15 for experienced climbers. Equipment is included.
March 24 to 26 – Joshua Tree Campout – Brad Burns is firming up campsite.
Spaghetti Dinner ticket sales will begin March 7. Dave and Nancy Dahler will print tickets. Jane Mannion will arrange quantity of food needed and organize donation list. Spaghetti Dinner is May 7 (room reserved from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
Memorial Day Yard Sale - Saturday, May 27, 2006, Baptist Church parkig lot.
Need someone to organize sale.

Next Committee Meeting - Feb. 7, 7 :00 p.m., rescheduled due to conflict with Valentine’s Day.
