Committee Chairman Report:

Paul Klausner Care Package - Eagle Patrol will send off their package to Mr. Klausner. Vivian Klausner reported that at this time, Paul will not be needing actual “care” packages but photos and letters would be appreciated. She will keep the troop updated as to his situation and needs.

Uniforms - It was decided by the Committee that the Class A uniform will be khaki pants - not jeans, belt, scout shirt, neckerchief, slide, sash and hat - appropriate for dress occasions such as Courts of Honor (your own or someone else’s), Boards of Review, and dress occasions, etc. Class B uniform will be belt, scout shirt, neckerchief and slide. Class C will be activity t-shirt or hat - some identifying article of clothing for camp outs, working outside, informal occasions etc.

T-Shirts - Tim Balog is handling having the activity t-shirts for the troop made.

Summer Camp - If you are planning to attend summer camp, your installments of $75, $120 and $120 should be paid to Pamela Maynard by now. There are still openings available which need to be filled as soon as possible; otherwise the deposit charges will have to be paid somehow by the troop. Dr. Herrick is contacting some scouts from other troops to see if they may care to attend camp with Troop 55. Cindy Geers will check to see if boys are up to date on their camp physicals.

Other Info:

Taylor Gambino will have his Eagle Court of Honor May 15, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Lake Arrowhead Resort.

Next Board of Review is April 19th at the regular scout meeting. It is okay to wear Class B uniform this time. Next Court of Honor is May 1, after Spaghetti Dinner.

Spaghetti Dinner - No need to sign up to sell tickets at Jensen’s in Blue Jay or Rite Aid. Just let the manager on duty know that you are there. If all goes well, the gym and the kitchen at the church will be done in time to hold the dinner. We will know several days beforehand.

Advancements - Dave Dahler can now sign off advancements and blue cards.
