Meeting called to order at 7:10 pm

Committee News:
Compliments to Troy Iwata and Matt Maynard for the good job on organizing the Court of Honor.
Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Patrol Leaders are to arrive at the first and third Tuesday meetings by 6:45 pm to meet with Dave Dahler to plan the next meeting.
In order to better utilize meeting time, each patrol needs to choose a merit badge to work on at Tuestay meetings.
The troop needs Merit Badge Counselors - Gary Stricker will arrange training for October Committee Meeting.
Website “thetroop55.com” is updated with new calendar and various permission slips that can be directly printed out for events. Amatos will take over webmaster duties for new items to be placed on the “thetroop55.com” website.
Tom Amato can file Tour Permits. Be sure the information is complete with appropriate signatures, vehicle list and map.
At the November Committee Meeting there will be a parent sign-up to help with the November 15 Board of Review.
Vivian Klausner will secure Log Chapel at Baptist Church for Video Night and Christmas Party/Court of Honor and the gym for the Pinewood Derby.
Popcorn Sales - Each scout is asked to make at least one sale, 34% goes to his camp fund. Have customers make checks to Troop 55 and the deadline to turn in money is October 18 with a November delivery.
Activities:
Sept. 30, Oct 1, 2 - Fisherman’s Camp Backpacking Trip scheduled. Dave Dahler in charge.
Oct. 16 - Miramar Air Show - Meet at 6:30 am, Baptist Church if you want to caravan. Show is 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. Gary Stricker in charge. Bring proof of auto insurance and vehicle registration to get on base.
FYI: Oct. 22, 23 - International Hobby Expo, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Los Angeles Convention Center - if anyone is interested.
March 5, 2006 - Merit Badge activity for rock climbing - Hangar 18, Upland scheduled. Jane Mannion in charge.
Summer Camp 2006 - Deposit was made to hold our reservations for Fiesta Island in San Diego. Shelly DePry has information.
