Welcome to my little Cocktails section.
I love enjoying a good cocktail with friends, listen to some decent music and talk about . . . whatever.

Actually there are a couple of recipes which aren't too well-known - part of the reason must be that either friends of mine or I have invented them.

And I want to share them with you.

So go ahead and take what you want. I'm going to add new recipes every now and then and would be happy to meet you on this page again.

Or you have your own drinks you'd like to see on this page. Feel welcome to send me mail with your recipe so I can add it to my list.

Right now there are only few cocktails listed on this page. But who knows?

Schmidt Special
Sensation no. 2
Sweet fist
Campari Jack

Listening to "You can call me Al"

Schmidt Special
cocktail glass
3 ice cubes
2 cl Martini Bianco
2 cl Amaretto
2 cl lemon juice

Shake all ingredients and pour them without the ice into a pre-cooled cocktail glass. Use cocktail cherry and/or slice of lime as decoration.

This is a very fruity and full tasting drink of an estimated average of 20 % alcohol.

Sensation no. 2
Longdrink glass
3 ice cubes
3 cl Martini Bianco
4 cl Triple Sec
2 cl lemon juice

Add all ingredients in the glass and stir. Then fill up carefully with dry champagne to keep a two level order.
Decorate with a slice of orange and a straw.

I invented this drink for my girl-friend who loves both champagne and sweet drinks. You can try it both ways: First the sweet base and then the top or just from the top. Either way you'll get a "sensation no. 2".

Sweet fist
Cocktail glass
3 ice cubes
2 cl Southern Comfort
2 cl Cointreau
1 cl Apricot Brandy
2 cl lemon juice

Shake all ingredients and pour in a pre-cooled cocktail glass.
Decorate with a cocktail cherry and a straw.

I can't remember where and when I came to this cocktail. It's a bit more complicated and you shouldn't drink too much of it - but there has to be one thing you want to risk . . .

Campari Jack
Cocktail glass
3 ice cubes
2 cl Canadian "Yukon Jack" or Southern Comfort, then it's called "Red Southern"
2 cl Campari
2 cl lemon juice

Shake all ingredients and pour in a pre-cooled cocktail glass.
Decorate with a slice of orange.

There are drinks you invent from mere lack of other ingredients, but this time it was a real upbeat. I like Campari Jack for its soft and slightly sweet first second of taste, followed by the tingling bitterness of Campari.

I would love to know how you like this and the other recipes so if you try them please drop me a note.
