These photos were taken during my 3rd EBMC event in Berlin, Germany in 1999. The European Big Men's Convergence or EBMC is an annual weekend long  celebration for Chubby, Bears and their Admirers from all over the planet. If your a Big man or and Admirer of Big men then this is one event you should not miss.

We flew to Frankfur, Germany and our host drove us around the city pointing out interesting landmarks along the way. From there we drove to Castle Frankenstein. Home of the original story. There we had breakfast. The staff was busy decorating for Holloween. We then drove to Berncastle on the Rhine for some more touring and to catch the sites along the way. It was early evening by this time so we headed to our overnite stay at Castle Leibenstein (Love Stone). We stayed 2 nights.

From Castle Leibenstein we travelled by train to Koln to visit the their largest church. While there I climbed up to the top of one of the towers of this grand church. After a few hours stay in Koln we were off to Hamburg.

A harbor cruise was included in the price of the hotel in Hamburg. This was a beautiful cruise, but our German was sorely lacking so most of what was said excaped our understanding. Darn and I spent months with those audio tapes trying to learn some German. Oh well.

After a 2 day stay in Hamburg we were off by train to Berlin and EBMC for 5 days.

With EBMC concluded we headed off by train to Praha (Prague) in the Czech Republic. We stayed 2 days. Toured the city as well as the little fort at Terezin. The hotel offered limo service and for the convenience sake we hired one of the hotel's drivers to take us to Munich.

After 2 days in Munich it was time to head back to Toronto.
