New, Non-Categorized, Maritime Links
Me! Okay, right up front here, I wanna tell ya that this is one of my hobbies. This is NOT in any way shape nor form a commercial website. This started out as fun four years ago. But it has become an awful lot of work. Now I can understand why Steve Schultz gave up his weekly Maritime News.

I really don't want ya to think that I am an ogre, but geez folks, gimme a break, huh? Everyday I get emails from folks asking questions where the answer is already on this website, or I have an easily located list of links that will answer their question(s). I have an Email Box Link link on every page because I welcome emails from visitors. Just do your part first, huh, and look around before dashing off a question. Okay? Thanx.

There is a button to my 57 category

right near the top on my front page. I spend a lot of time visiting, and I put up a description of almost every one of my maritime links.

You got a question about a World War II merchant ship?

http://www.USMM.org/

has up a wealth of WW II ship information including a listing of the names of ALL Liberty's and Victory's + either has up or is in the process of putting up C-12345's and tankers, hospital ships, troopships, Hog Islanders, Korean War ships, lists of ships damaged and sunk in WWII -- and LOTS more.

Most of the USCG seamen's documents and license questions I get

are answered right here.

Ya wanna run away to sea ? Click here
to find out how.

Lately I have not updated these pages as often as I would like. So what I am gonna do for now is, put new non-categorized links on this page, until I find the time to put them in their proper place.

I write this December 29, 1999. I have spent all of my spare time evenings and weekends since December 1st checking my existing links, attempting to locate those who changed addresses, eliminating dead links, and updating these pages. Including this page, there are 118 new links, and one new category.
