JEANNIE'S JOURNAL OF ITALY

Hi! My name is Jeannie Chancellor and I live in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area of Florida where we have lots of sunshine and beautiful beaches. This is me in the picture above. Pretty cute, huh?  I will be graduating with my master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida in December, 1996. This web page is a project for one of my last academic classes. I thought of many things to put here from other pages I have seen; for instance, I could tell you about my life, show you pictures of all my family and pets, or write about my hobbies -- but I decided that more people would probably be more interested in one of my favorite topics of conversation -- MY WONDERFUL TRIP TO ITALY!

In the summer of 1994, I was lucky enough to get to go to Italy (or Italia as it is known to Europeans) to study for a whole month. I fell madly in love with the country and the sites I saw there and now I'd like to share some of my tour with you. A few of the cities we will be visiting are: Perugia , Siena , Florence , Deruta , Venice , Rome and Assisi .
