Hi. The fact that I wrote "hi" says it all. I've been in the States since 1993. I met my American husband at Swansea University when he was studying abroad for a year. Before I knew it, we were married, but he had two more years at uni to complete, so I c me to Wisconsin. When he graduated, I insisted that we move back to England. We lived in London for a year that was blissful for me and miserable for him. Seems I'm the stronger one. So we moved back. Now I'm a Packer fan and a Badger fan (I completely un erstand the game and love it) and I really like Madison. But I get very homesick every now and then, even though I am from Birmingham(!) Today was a bad day, so I searched for a site like this.... and really enjoyed reading other people's comments. Someti es it's too easy to feel like nobody "gets it." Thanks a lot - this really helped.
