England '95

Observations from our trip to England at Christmas '95.

I have never felt so cold in my life!!!

The countryside was much more beautiful than I remembered, and so green compared to California.

You can't beat the social life and we managed to frequent quite a few pubs over the three weeks.

When asked what kind of beer Steve wanted at a local pub he requested whatever was most popular - they handed him a Budweiser!

I don't remember watching such stupid TV programs.

It was great to eat a good curry again.

We all managed to step in dog poop!

A seven hour flight, three hour wait, then a five hour flight is no fun with a three and a four year old. The other passengers seemed to agree with this.

I've said it once but I'll say it again, "I have never felt so COLD in my life!!!" (Hey you try standing at the top of Blackpool tower in December.)
