The following links are what we believe to be some of the BEST SITES ON THE NET. All the links mentioned in our pages are here, and we've also included some of our other favourite links that didn't really belong in any category! The page is basically a jumble of unrelated sites, but if you take the time to sift through, you are likely find something of interest. There's also a list of HTML help links that are worth a look for anyone starting out with HTML.

Tired of searching the net and getting few results?...then check out The Bloody Big Search Engine. This Aussie-designed site gives you a direct line to 24 search engines from the one page, and includes all the favourites like Yahoo and Alta Vista.

The Chocolate Lover's Page ...this says it all!!! This is one of the oldest sites on the Web. The site has a large collection of choc-related resources that are found on the web, and you can also search the large site itself. A must for any lover of the hedonistic pleasures of the Food of the Gods! : )

Planning to travel?...well, don't start packing till you've read a review of your site at the Lonely Planet. Undoubtedly a must for any traveller.

The Pinky and the Brain Page includes, among other things, a great picture gallery.

For the best Animaniacs links, including Pinky and the Brain, The Animaniacs WWW Hall of Fame! is a great site for Animaniacs fans. Apart from the great Animaniacs links, the site also has great sounds, images, and a list of newsgroups to keep you amused.

This Pinky and the Brain Page will describe to you exactly who Pinky and the Brain are, and also provides the usual pictures and sounds.

Globechat is one of the oldest and busiest chat sites on the net. There are multiple rooms designed for every taste.....from the Original chat rooms to the Atomic Cafe, you will find an array of topics to talk about and a variety of people to keep you amused. The Globe is not only a chat site, and also includes a variety of other services such as Globe Mail and Homepages. You can also become a member, giving you access to a much larger number of the Globe's services. This is a fantastic site - well worth a look.

Broadcast Chat . Due to the increasing number of people using the chat site, Broadcast has developed two separate links - Broadcast1 and Broadcast2. Each has the ability to create your own room, giving you total control on the design of the room and on who can enter. Overall, this is a great site for virgin-Talkers!

All the IRC's in the World...it lists just that.

The Tower This talker is based on the Medieval theme. For the really devoted, residency is available...just ask one of the superusers.

The Forest is an Australian EW talker.

The X-Files Top Ten List, lists a variety of top ten things about the X-Files.

There are hundreds of personal X-Files homepages, and some of our neighbours at Geocities have great X-Files homepages. Here are some of them :

Jon's X-Files Home Page has great links, images and sounds.

This X-Files Page has the usual list of links, and also has a list of FAQ's. Check this page out for complete and detailed information on both Dana Scully and Fox Mulder.

Another great X-Files Home Page at Geocities. It includes pictures, sounds, links, and info on the X-files movies.

The Fiji Dos and Don'ts Site. If you're planning to travel to Fiji, or if you just want to check out some of the cultural aspects of Fiji. Particularly is you're planning to travel to Fiji, it's well worth remembering that there are some things considered as unacceptable or rude and it's well worth checking these out rather than finding out the hard way! The page also suggests some of the must-dos whilst in Fiji.

For a collection of cool links on O)+>, and the chance to download the 'emancipation font' used on the new album, Emancipation (yes, another 'emancipation' site!) is a great starting point to further links on O)+>.

The Dawn is the official website of O)+>'s new album, 'Emancipation', and includes links to his music, info on the album, and even an Emancipation questionnaire.

For a great picture gallery on Michael Jackson, The Un-official MJ Page (one of literally hundreds!), is worth a look. This page also links to MJ information / a message from MJ / lyrics / downloads and is also a great starting point for other MJ links.

The biggest event to hit Australia will be the 2000 Olympics. The official and the best site on the games is Sydney 2000. This also links to the logo site.

SydneyCity offers a great variety of Sydney links and includes search engines, directories, indexes, lists, and many other Sydney guides. This site also links to other Aus links.

For any traveller, no matter what the destination, checking out Lonely Planet is a must. Destination Australia is as good as any Lonely Planet site and includes information on the environment, history, culture, and even economic profile of Australia. There is also great travel information, telling you all you need to know about getting here & getting around.

Guide to Australia is published by Charles Sturt University and the Australian National Botanic Gardens, and includes indexes, facts on government, history, weather, communications, and geography. It also provides useful travel information and an array of general facts on Aus.
