The Mirage is one of the most extravagent Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. This site contains loads of pictures and information about the hotel and casino. It also contains quicktime movie files (.mov) of Sigfried and Roy (Famous Illustionist), Mirage Tigers, Dolphins and manmade Volcano which erupts each night every 30 minutes (weather permitting).
Harrahs is located across the road from the Mirage. I personally stayed there in May of 95 and was amazed at the beauty and hospitality. Harrah's is 1 of a few casinos to have a security guard sitting by the access elevators to your room each night. This prevents theft. To get by the guard, you must present your hotel key.
MGM Hotel/Casino/Thempark is located about 3 blocks (20 minute walk) from Harrah's and The Mirage. This is a beautiful looking hotel with the MGM Lion as your front doorway. Located in the back of the hotel is the MGM Themepark complete with a roller coaster, other rides as well as live entertainment. This site contains pictures and information about MGM Las Vegas.
Luxor Hotel and Casino is one of the most unique casino's in the world. The shape of this Hotel is a pyramid and has a sphynx by the front doorway. The Luxor is located accross the road from MGM. This site contains pictures and information about the hotel and casino.
Fitzgeralds is one of the oldest casinos in Las Vegas. Fitzgeralds is located downtown. This site offers pictures and information.
Grand Casino. This is a newly opened casino located at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas
Maxim Hotel. Located 3 minutes from the strip near Bally's and Flamingo Hotel. Nice little hotel/casino aand 1 of the more reasonable ones.
Bally's. Bally's hotel and Casino is located accross from the Bellagio Hotel. It is located beside Burbon Street and Alladin Casinos. This site has a few pictures of the hotel/casino.
