Arale Lahav - All you need to know about your tour guide

My name is Arale, which is a nickname for young Aaron (you pronounce it like Sara Lee without the "s"...)

I was born and raised in Israel, where I lived all my life. As a young man I joined the army and participated in all the Israeli wars since 1967. I studied in the Tel-Aviv University and the school of tourism. I have been working as a licensed tour guide since 1971. Between the years 1978-84 I served as an emissary in Scotland and Holland. Upon my return to Israel I turned once again to my greatest love...this exciting country and its people...and to my old profession and hobby: working as a tour guide. I'm 52 years old and a proud father to Amos (23), Rami (20) and Anat (16).

In all the years as a tour guide I've gathered a lot of experience, developed my skills, enriched my knowledge and information. Being a Sabra (native born in Israel), serving as a Colonel in the reserve forces of the I.D.F., I know this country very well. The thousands of satisfied tourists whom I had the pleasure of guiding across this land are my greatest satisfaction and pride. In addition to my work, I was involved in some of the major projects as chief-guide and main co-cordinator of pilgrimages such as: 6,000 Charismatic followers of pastor Chao from South Korea in 1996, the crusades of pastor Benny Hinn from Orlando, followed by thousands of believers, the "Bible Land" seminars organized by Dehoney Bible Land Travel and many others.

Acknowledgements...

Over the years I had the pleasure and the privilege to share my knowledge and to exchange views with many professors, great scholars, pastors and priests. All of them were always a great source of knowledge, inspiration and friendship to me.

I wish to extend to those many dear people my sincere appreciation and best wishes. I'm looking forward to meeting them once again in the near future in the paths of our land. May God bless them all.
