Guam

The tiny island of Guam is in the Marianas Islands chain, a part of Micronesia. It's a popular honeymoon spot for Japanese and Korean newlyweds due to it's close proximity to both islands.

Because Guam in an unincorporated territory of the US, a visit there is the next best thing to going stateside. Among their biggest attractions for us are Pizza Hut, Lone Star Steakhouse, A Jeep dealership, people who speak English, and of course, that American retail mecca, K-Mart!

Umatac, a small village on the island.

The Philippines

Ahhh.......Boracay! Miles of sandy, white beaches, cool tropical breezes and sparkling blue waters. The perfect antidote to the bustling, industrial capital city of Manila. The food is incredible, the cocktails plentiful and the Philippine hospitality is as warm as the weather. We found this island a perfect place to relax and unwind. Our favorite activities while on Boracay included sleeping, drinking and eating!! While we observed the popularity of a variety of water sports, we confined ourselves to sun-bathing, beach strolling and contemplating our next seafood feast! Yes, we HAVE become indulgent creatures of habit!

This is the airport on Borocay. They routinely have to shoo chickens and dogs off the runway.
