Here are some Photos from our trip to Europe a few summers ago...

We started out in England and spent a week there.

This is the hotel we stayed at

It was the Stakis-St. Ermin in London.

We visited lots and lots of neat places in England and spent one day at Brighton beach. Wow, it's amazing what those Brits will call a beach.

We then took a boat to France and a train to Paris.

We took an overnight train from Paris to Rome. It was pretty neat. The cabin was really small and they said it had its own bathroom. Turned out to be a metal pot under the sink. We decided to use the bathroom down the hall.

Peggy was less than impressed with the motion of the train...

In Rome we spent a day walking around seeing the older parts of the city, like the ruins of the colleseum. We spent a great deal of time at the Vatican. Some really nice places to visit, but you need to be awfully careful. Pick pockets were everywhere. One lady had her purse stolen on a bus not 5 feet from us. The amazing thing is they caught the two-person team that stole her wallet.

We finished up our vactation in Zurich, truly one of the most beautiful places in the world, with some of the friendliest people I've ever met. But those pics will be for another time...
