Norman Church near Ashbury

Church on the road between Ashbury and Uffington.

Ashbury is a small village east of Swindon, and it is the last bus stop on the way to Uffington. This chuch is about a mile east of Ashbury, just below the high road that crosses the plain. This type of church is very common in England -- one can see similar ones in almost every town and village.
