Downtown Disney Marketplace

Clustered along the shore of the Buena Vista Lagoon, Downtown Disney Marketplace is made up of a variety of interesting shops and restaurants. The largest shop is the "World of Disney". Comprising 50,000 sqaure feet, and divided into ten themed rooms, this shop sells every imaginable Disney character item from clocks and clothes to fine china and toys! Other shops include 2R's Reading and Riting, a large book and stationary store; The Art of Disney, which sells animation cels and art pieces related to Disney animated movies; Studio M, a magical photography studio; Team Mickey's Athletic Club, a sports clothing and equipment store; Toys Fantastic, which sells a wide variety of Mattel toys; Disney's Days of Christmas, which sells christmas items year round; Disney at Home, which sells bedroom and bath items; Pooh Corner, which sells a wide variety of Winnie the Pooh merchandise; Village Tower, which sells a large selection of Disney merchandise; the Gourmet Pantry, a quaint grocery-type store that also sells kitchen items and serves a small variety of deli-style food; EuroSpain, which sells Spanish handicrafts; Summer Sands, which sells items for the beach; Harrington Bay Clothiers and Resortwear Unlimited, clothing stores for men and women respectively; and the Lego Imagination Center, a large shop that sells Lego products, showcases huge Lego models, and has areas where kids can play with the popular toy. Restaurants at the Downtown Disney Marketplace include Wolfgang Puck Express, a gourmet fast food restaurant; McDonald's; Fulton's Crab House, a seafood restaurant located on a large riverboat; Cap'n Jack's Oyster Bar, which serves a wide variety of seafood; Rainforest Café, which serves environmentally-concious food in a rainforest setting and also contains a wildlife-oriented shop; and Ghiradelli's Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, which serves World-Famous Ghiradelli chocolate, shakes, ice cream, and many other tempting treats. Recreational activities at the marketplace include boating and fishing. Two other fun things to do are play in the many fountains and search out the beautiful Disney topiaries

Interesting and little known facts

-the World of Disney shop is the largest Disney store in the world, it's almost the size of a football field!
