Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

The newest, fastest, and first looping coaster in an American Disney park, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster takes guests on a wild ride through nighttime L.A. After guests enter the ride building, themed as a record company named G-Force Records, they enter the preshow room where, on the other side of the glass in a recording booth, is the band Aerosmith. They start to talk to you, but suddenly their manager rushes in and tells them that they have to hurry off to a concert. Feeling sorry for leaving you so quickly, the band offers to give you tickets to the concert and they call for a super-superstretch limo to get you there. After the preshow ends, guests walk through an area resembling a back alley and into a garage where the super-superstretch limo pulls up and you get in. As the car pulls out of the garage and around the corner, it stops in front of a large sign displaying traffic reports. The freeways are jammed and you can hear over the limo's radio that the concert is already starting without you. You have to get to that concert quickly! All of a sudden, with the tires squealing, your car zooms off into a dark tunnel. In fact, the car accelerates from 0 - 60 MPH in 2.8 seconds!! The car emerges from the tunnel into the (simulated) night air and right into the first loop, followed by a twisting, turning (no real drops though) trip past black-lit plam trees and L.A. landmarks. You even zoom through an "O" of the famed Hollywood sign. All the while, Aerosmith music is pounding through the car's radio, synchronized to every twist and turn. Before this crazy road trip ends, the car races around one more standard loop and a corkscrew loop that Benny the Cab (of Roger Rabbit fame) would be proud of.

Interesting and little known facts

-the limo's radio is actually a high-tech sound system featuring five speakers per seat!
-when the cars accelerate from 0 - 60 MPH in 2.8 seconds, they're accelerating faster than any car currently on the market!
